I emailed Dani to ask when these would be back in stock and he replied saying he had one with a slight defect. When it arrived, I was amazed he had even bothered to admit it had a defect - it took me ages to find it and doesn't affect the performance in any way. Dani's attention to customer service is absolutely second to none - I wish more UK based companies would be like this (although to be fair, some are pretty good).
Despite the summer nights not being as dark as we'd like, I managed to get some time with the eyepiece and it thoroughly impressed me. The image was pin sharp - the double cluster revealed so much more detail than even my best 1.25" eyepiece. I'll now be looking to replace all my eyepieces and barlows with Dani's products. Truly fantastic all round!
